YCW Limbe Deanery set to Revamp Dormant Sections

Young Christians Workers (YCW) under Limbe deanery in the Archdiocese of Blantyre are set to revamp sections that have been dormant under the deanery.

Speaking during a mid year review meeting that was held at Holy-Ghost Parish in Blantyre, members agreed to revamp two sections of Bangwe and Kameza that are under Limbe deanery in the Archdiocese of Blantyre.

YCW Limbe deanery President,Kizito Kumwenda expressed a need for other sections to take part in revamping the two sections after hitches in reviving the sections last year.

Kumwenda also  explained that revamping the two sections signifies growth of YCW in the Archdiocese of Blantyre under Limbe deanery.

Archbishop preaches courage among the youths

Archbishop Thomas Luke Msusa of Archdiocese of Blantyre has urged the youths in the country to be courageous in serving God.

In his homily during Eucharist celebration at Gambula Parish in Mulanje on Vocations Sunday, Archbishop Msusa expressed a need for the youths to be courageous when answering God’s call to serve Him.

The Archbishop Msusa explained that the youths must take courage to ask God what to do and following Jesus Christ.

Archdiocese of Blantyre grows bigger with two more parishes

 

Most Rev Archbishop Thomas Luke Msusa has created two more parishes in the Archdiocese of Blantyre to meet pastoral needs and care of Christians in the Archdiocese.

Namame Church in Blantyre and Mithungu Church in Phalombe districts have added up the total number of Parishes in the Archdiocese of Blantyre to 43.

Father Mangwiyo laid to rest

Catholic Priest in the Archdiocese of Blantyre, Father Felix Mangwiyo has been laid to rest at Limbe Cemetery on Tuesday this week.

Late Father Mangwiyo died on Saturday after he was involved in a road accident in Chiradzulu district.
